Mix up plain ol’ PB&J by making Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi for Kids. It’s a great alternative to sandwich lunches because it uses the same ingredients but presents the food in a different way.
My son loves to eat his with kid-friendly chopsticks — it’s like a game for him!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi Rolls for Kids
Here’s what you need to make Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi Rolls for Kids:
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Bread
- Rolling Pin
- Kid Chopsticks (optional)
Start by cutting the crust off of your bread to create a crust-less rectangle. Use the rolling pin to roll the bread flat.
Spread a thin layer of peanut butter onto the bread — you don’t want too much or it will squish out when you go to roll the sushi! Leave about 1/4-inch border around the edges of the bread.
Repeat with the jelly.
Now it’s time to roll! Roll the bread up and use a sharp knife to cut it into smaller sushi rolls.
Serve immediately.
